I led the design process, partnering with the product manager, the group IT manager, project manager and front-end developer. After familiarizing myself with the complexities of the existing app, learning about the user pain points, and understanding the tasks, I created a user flow, and started sketching UI possibilities. With these sketches I got closer to the requirements and was able to create wireframes, and UI styles. With frequent feedback from the client and team, I moved on to create UI mockups and key pages, working within agile sprints, and providing branding, all assets, UI Styles, and developer notes for a smooth transition to production.
RESULTS: With great team collaboration and continuous delivery, the new user-focused application with clarity of content, UI style and a highly improved user experience was delivered.
